Heroin Seizure In Pittsburgh

Nearly $500,000 worth of heroin was seized after two Pittsburgh men were pulled over for speeding. The two men claimed they were on their way back from New Jersey after purchasing carpet yarn. After they gave permission for their vehicle to be searched a drug sniffing dog found the black tar heron wrapped in the carpet yarn.

Heroin addiction is rampant on the east coast and has made its way to Pennsylvania as well. In fact, along with cocaine abuse, ti is believed to be the biggest threat to this state.
