Two Charged With Homicide After Heroin Overdose

Erin J. Brown and Kip R. Joyce were charged with homicide after officials found the body of William D. Javaux after he overdosed from heroin. Reports indicated that the three friends traveled to St. Louis and bought heroin. As they drove back to Granite County Javaux overdosed in the car. Brown and Joyce laid William’s body on the floor of their trailer where he later died. Brown and Joyce put his body in the trunk of their car and ditched the body on the side of the road. Police identified Kip and Erin by fingerprints found on the body. The two are currently in jail awaiting trial.
