Anthrax, a deadly disease commonly found in animals was recently discovered in batches of heroin. It has already killed six people and infected at least 12. Unfortunately the amount of contaminated heroin is unknown, as is the source. Officials are urging anyone suffering from drug or alcohol abuse to seek help immediately to avoid being infected by this disease.

Heroin abuse is one of the hardest addictions to overcome – the only real, effective solution is drug and alcohol treatment. Narconon Louisiana, one of the leaders in rehabilitation works with clients to eliminate and handle cravings. Most addicts will tell you that one of the reasons why it is hard to overcome a heroin addiction is because of the intense cravings that heroin causes the body to have. These cravings can be eliminated by detoxifying the body from all harmful drug residue.

Instead of playing Russian Roulette with life, addicts need to enroll in effective, long-term rehabilitation. If you or anyone you know is in need of help please call Narconon Louisiana at 866-422-4650.
